Amber The Army_Chik
Hi I'm Amber and my nickname is Army_Chik. You're probably wondering why it is that I have this nickname. Okay I used to be really into Army gear like camoflage clothes. This guy at school used to call me "Commando" and my really awesome friend Crystal used to call me G.I.Jane when she first met me cos I was in camo clothes and was lifting up all these tables to put them aside. So I use the nickname Arny_Chik always on chat. My favourite chat program is Mirc on the server irc.xtra.co.nz cos there's some really cool people on there. (You'll see them on my friends page)
This is me when I had quite long hair. The picture was taken in 1998 sometime near the middle of the year. I was cold that day so I had a huge oversized jersey on.
This is me when I was in the mood for change. First day I went to school with that haircut, everyone was surprised as I had been growing my hair for a while and I had never done anything crazy quite like this. This picture was taken at the end of 1998. I also had my hair shaved again January 1999. I wonder if I'll ever get it shaved again. Or maybe some rad patterns shaved into it instead. Hehe that would be fun (NOT)
I would like to say that I am not shaving my hair again for a good while and I am trying to grow it long again. So far it is on it's way to shoulder length and I wonder how it would look when it is actually all the same length.
Okay so you probably want to know more about me. This homepage was updated and placed on this site 31 October 1999 so all the information is from that time frame and before. I'm 16 years of age and I was born 19 July 1983. I'm currently 5th form at Wellington High School in New Zealand. I am doing 4 School Certificate subjects but you probably find that boring. (For those who want to know, my subjects are Maths, Science, English and Text and information management. I am also doing 6th form certificate computing and practical food and nutrition.) My interests?? Hmm lemme see. Well I love singing and poetry (you can find some poetry and songs I have written on my poetry page). I also love listening to music, using computers, partying, generally having a good time in life.
I have a few goals in life so here they are:
1. To Become a Journalist who is well known around the world and famous
2. To Make loads of money from my jobs in life
3. To Publish a book of my very own poetry
4. To Own my own magazine
5. To Finally get to meet my wonderful soulmate (Lee Orchard)
6. To Finally get to meet my dream man (whoever that is)
7. To get to sing my alltime favourite song "Tears in Heaven" with the artist, Eric Clapton himself
8. To be able to record my songs on cd and sell them world wide
9. To be able to make this homepage way better than it already is
and finally 10. To be able to live this life to the fullest where ever it will take me with out risking too much for happiness.
